To Access District Printing:

  1. You need to have the PaperCut app installed.

    1. If you have a device that is managed by Ralls ISD, your device should come with PrintDeploy automatically installed.

    2. If you are not on a Ralls ISD managed device, you’ll need to proceed to the Downloads section of this article.

  2. You must also sign in to the PaperCut app. See the sections below, titled in red, for instructions on how to log in.

    1. If you are a staff member or student, your PaperCut username is the first part of your email address (before the “@rallsisd.org”) and your password is your Ralls ISD Google password.

    2. If you do not have a @rallsisd.org email address and need access to printing, contact technology@rallsisd.org.

Printing to Xerox Copiers:

You will get a 4-digit code emailed to you when your account is created and that will be your PIN login for the printer. The email will come from no-reply@rallsprintserver.com. Please save that.

You will be printing to a virtual print queue that holds your job until you go to the printer to retrieve it. To retrieve your job, you will walk up to any Xerox copier in the district and log in with your PIN. You will be shown only your print jobs and from there you can release them to be printed. Your jobs will be held for 72 hours before they are deleted from the queue.

Be sure to watch the video tutorials below.

Printing to desktop printers (Brother/HP/etc.)

If you print to a smaller printer that is in your office, please contact Technology for help setting those up.

Downloads (BYOD Users Only):

If you are a visitor or contractor, you will need to download and install PaperCut PrintDeploy in order to sign in and access our printers. You will most likely need administrator rights to your device in order to install this software. You will also need a PaperCut account provisioned by Ralls ISD. If you have a @rallsisd.org Google account, you are good to go (see below for instructions on how to sign in). If you do not have a @rallsisd.org Google account, please use the "submit a ticket" button on the top right corner of this page to request a PaperCut account from the Ralls ISD tech department.

Video Tutorials:

Sign in to PaperCut - MacBooks:

You will look for the little green PaperCut icon in the menu bar. If you don't have the app, use the download link at the top of this page to download the "PaperCut PrintDeploy (Mac)" app.

Click that icon and sign in. Your username will be the first part of your email address (without the @rallsisd.org) and your password will be your Google password.

Your printers will be installed for you. You will see a "SecurePrint" device when you go to print. That is the "printer" that you will print to.

Sign in to PaperCut - Windows Desktops/Laptops

The app is a white printer icon located down by the system time. If you don't have the app, use the download link at the top of this page to download the "PaperCut PrintDeploy (Windows)" app.

Click the little arrow to reveal the app, then click the printer icon, then "View my printers" and that should prompt you to sign in. Or you can usually prompt the app to show when you try to print something if you're not signed in.

A little while after you sign in, you should see the virtual print queue installed…

When it’s done you’ll see a printer called "SecurePrint[PaperCut..." and it will look just like any other printer from the Windows print prompt.

Sign in to PaperCut - Chromebooks:

Start by trying to print a document and selecting "See More" from the list of printers...

The print queue is called "SecurePrint_Chromebook" and has a little green icon associated with it.

This should prompt you to sign in to PaperCut. Again, your login in the first part of your email address and your Google password. Don't forget to click the "Remember me" box to keep you logged in.
